He's not a player that's going to take Arsenal back to where they want to be. He's the best of an average bunch. However, the market is limiting to Arsenal because of where they currently are as a team/squad.

It's a vicious cycle. Can't attract top, top quality because of where you are but you can't get back to where you want to be without top, top quality!

Unfortunately, I can't see anything else than another 8th placed finish. Feel free to present a counter argument if you disagree.

Come on lads. Let's be honest here.

No one in the current 26-man England euro squad is moving for less than £50m.

No one outside the 2 reserve keepers at least.

He looks like a very good player and if he turns out to be one then £50m will be money well spent considering his age.

Still a bizarre signing when we have Saliba who has not kicked a ball for Arsenal. The money could and should have gone elsewhere, but that’s Artitler for you.

Bit weird considering the Saliba thing, but he's clearly a good player. Has he the potential to be the player we need? Maybe, but looks like we've overpaid a bit, but oh well.

Will give him full support and see how he's doing in a year's time before making any flimsy judgements on him as a signing

When you think Arsenal paid £27m for a player that may never play for us, even if White only ever plays against Brentford, £50m seems an incredible piece of business!

Joking apart, Foden and Saka rate him highly, and that will do for me.

The whole point for a club in our position is to gamble on players that people like you think aren't good enough, but actually end up being better than you think.

It's what Liverpool did when we all thought they overpaid fir Wijnaldum, Mane, Salah etc and they've won a CL and PL title.

If your not familiar with the word Average u can always Google it!!!

Many of my fellow Leeds fans on 606 really rate him.
We had the opportunity to buy him for 30M but went for Koch and llorente for 31M.
Made much more sense for us.
I think white is a good player but a bit light weight for 50M imo.

Ben White is not worth £50m
