More Kane rubbish?

Just seen reports stating Kane may not return to preseason training in a bid to force a move

Surely this is more made up rubbish from the media trying to flog Harry for us but I think it was in the telegraph so is quite reputable

I just couldn’t see Kane doing this , he seems too professional

He would also know doing this would destroy the reputation he has built with Spurs fans as a hero

Flip side is he saw bale do it and the fans forgave him so maybe he is thinking same will happen for him. Difference is bale was not at Spurs since he was a kid. Harry is Mr tottenham

What would stop this incessant media agenda would be Kane and Levy coming out with an official response, and at the same time naming and shaming the various media types that are happy to make things up, either to make money, or fit it with their bosses obvious anti Spurs agenda.

And please don't tell me there is no agenda. Tell me when did you last see a positive Spurs article in the media. Or any negative articles relating to Arsenal, who as far as I can see are in an even worse position ??

Aren't most who played in Euro 2020 not appearing for the START of pre-season?

Downed tools? Deliberate twist by the media.

I don't understand it...you've cleverly & brilliantly maneuvered yourselves into the Euro Conference league only to now let yourselves be bullied into losing your only world class player...

How are you going to win this prestigeous cup without him

The smart thing for Levy to do is sell Kane and start a re-build process for the squad. Spurs are getting worse season season and that is despite having two World class players in Kane and Son playing at their limits. Kanes's market value is likely to decline from this point onwards. Its the right time for club and player to part ways.

I actually think if he did that quite a large portion of Spurs fans would back him over the Levy and the club itself. I think we all know that he is a very honourable player anyway. He's given us way more than any other player with his talent would normally do. For me, he's the best number 9 in world football and he's yet to win a thing. I don't blame him one bit. If, as has been mooted, he had a gentlemen's agreement to go this summer then Levy should honour it, providing the transfer fee is what we want.

Holding someone against their will, a person who has given us so much, a legend of the club, is just really, really bad form. It's such bad PR. If he dug his heels in, I'd back him over the club all day long. He deserves success and he's just not going to get it with us. If the offer hits 150m, we have to take it. It's fair.

What an absolute shower of nonsense this is, if you have any shred of ambition as a club, you do not sell your best player, at any price. 150m will not go far when you are trying to replace 50 odd goal involvements, and where exactly are these players to replace him, are they available, whoever you find is a downgrade, it also sends out all the wrong messages as a club.

Kane signed a contract with Spurs and should be prepared to honour it, player power has gone too far, it is time the clubs took the power back.

Chelsea sold their best player at the the peak of his powers and 2 years later won the CL. A fact that kind of trampled over your post.
