Oh and I forgot to say new ground, new training ground.

I read the last time spurs won a title was closer to victoriana times than the present. Seeing the money and profit spurs have made under Levy, for its billionaire owners, makes u realise he is great at running a business. Not so great at running a successful sports team. Spurs won't ever be great with ENIC. If they got within touching distance and didn't spend money they already had, then I just can't see it happening. They knowwhat they need(ed) to do bit just dont want it enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What would somebody who supports Crawley know about winning titles. Stick to park football fella.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
to be fair Sandy is right, you are no Spurs fan dude.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Crawley won a title in 2011 as well but I'm assuming strawman sandy thinks football doesn't exist out the PL ๐
The fact Crawley actually out spent spurs in several transfer windows under potch kinda makes my point๐
----------------------------------------------------------------------
LOL Outspent Spurs, and still finished 80 places below Spurs. Something to really brag about.

Lots of blablabla...but so far no one has refuted what OP has suggested. Spurs are better off under Levy than predecessors.

Not to pick a hole in your argument Sandy but you’re telling us all to be happy with the way things are, yet you were the one screaming for Poch’s head. Doesn’t make sense. He’s responsible for the highest set of finishes we’ve ever had and you wanted him out yet you have the audacity to call us ungrateful and impatient? Jeez!!! Come on!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not correct though is it. I had a couple of weeks saying results were poor, and the manager needed changing. Lots on here here have been running the club down for the best part of two seasons. Big, big difference.
Once the managerial change was made, I was fully behind the new manager, as I will be behind the even newer manager.
I have always backed the club. Some on here are not even doing that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Also Poch is not responsible for Spurs highest ever finishes, Billy Nicholson holds the record with a 3rd, 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc in successive seasons. Learn your history son.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's not strictly true. You were whining way longer than that. Also, it's irrelevant. You're criticising us for criticising Levy (or the hierarchy) but it's fine for to start a one man crusade against Poch. The length of time is irrelevant.
If you're clutching to the straw of Bill Nicholson even though it was pretty clear I was talking about the Prem era, I fear this argument is slipping away from you, Sandy. Don't worry. You can't win them all.

LOL. Football started nearly 120 years before the Prem began. It wasn`t clear at all you were talking about the Prem. Your quote was Poch was responsible for the highest set of finishes ever for Spurs, absolutely nothing about just Prem era. I was merely correcting you.
Also as I said I criticicised Poch for a month or so, you lot criticised our last manager for 18 months, and are still criticising Daniel Levy. As I said massive difference.

I'm aware that football began before the Prem, it's just a pedantic distraction you've made to steer away from the fact that you're guilty of hypocrisy.
As I've said, if you're allowed to criticise a manager that had us finish 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 4th again alongside a CL final, then we're allowed to criticise Levy himself for even making that decision to sack him. That's where the decline started. I knew that was a bad decision. I knew hiring Jose was a bad decision. So here we are, 2 years later. I'll back Nuno, no problem but the Levy problem will still be there. If Nuno has a similar run to Poch, he'll also be gone within 4-5 years. It's how Levy runs things. Same happened to Redknapp. This is how things work with him...
1. Hires manager
2. Manager performs miracles with a limited squad.
3. Levy believes squad is the reason for those miracles.
4. Levy gets frustrated with lack of silverware.
5. Levy sacks manager.
6. Levy wonders why players no longer perform.
That's why I'm sick of him. No matter what relative success we achieve, he'll pull the trigger eventually and we're back to square one. It's as much that as it is the finances.
Anyway, that's not the point. The point is that we're allowed to criticise just as you are. End of.

I stopped when I got to point 2.
Manager did not perform miracles with a limited squad. He had the best Spurs squad at his disposal for 30 years, and didn`t win anything. I would hardly call that a miracle. More of a failure I would have thought.

We had a great first XI, but the squad was not up to it, that is why we failed to win anything. Add in 2 or 3 quality players with a winning mentality and we would have been more likely to win something. That was Levy`s fault.
All water under the bridge and we all know who the one common denominator of our misery is.
