I've heard people say and read that Lewis Hamilton is Britain's GOAT sportsman.
I'm not a massive fan of Lewis but that's not swaying my view. Can though, a racing driver be the GOAT when:
A. Being a driver is quite elitist. Not all of us get the chance to drive go karts then F3 etc and
B. Motor racing is essentially a team sport. Not in the same way as Football but the winning car is down to a massive team and money.
On the other hand, hats off to anyone who can drive a car at 200mph therefore risking injury or their life.

Even objectively, I don't get how anyone can blame Max for this one without involving bias and prejudice from previous incidents. At no point was he ahead of Max before the contact. People just seem to expect that he should have gone off the track like Leclerc did.

He doesn't have to be ahead,the front axle needs to be more than half way past the other car...them is the rules....apparently.

Nearly all the other drivers asked to comment have called it 50 50. Any one on here thinking they no better to put 100% blame on one of the drivers is an outlier and lacking objectivity. The analysis from the experts again have in general concurred with the drivers. Racing incident.
