When asked about Sancho he basically said it’s a done deal but still some paperwork to sign and until then he is a Dortmund player. Nothing too interesting or informative there. But he was then asked about Varane and his response was ‘same again’.

Did they really do that? Jeez. It’s not a surprise, but it’s fecking lazy, awful reporting - it was a few seconds where he said he won’t talk about players while they’re at other clubs. No need to take it out!

Ole is probably working on a Cash + player (Phil Jones) deal on Varane, that's why the hush-hush. Unfortunately for Ole, Varane costs more than his true worth because of those trophies/medals on his CV. He is actually only an upgrade on Lindelof. No striker shakes in their boots at the thought of Varane being in defense, just like they don't at the thought of Lindelof.
