Unless we get a bid of approx £40 mill for him then he should stay. Lingard is a top class player and if another team don't want to pay the appropriate fee then they can forget it.

Did Lingard's form tail off towards the end of the season or was it just the goals/assists that tailed off? I can't claim to have watched West Ham avidly, but I know that going by the most basic stats can either exaggerate or understate the quality of performance.

He got injured and then came back and stats trailed off but played well for them.

Top class player! Oh do shut up. It would be utterly ridiculous if we were to keep him. Yrs of mediocrity and he then pulls the wool over peoples eyes with a couple of good months spell and people are saying to keep him and he is top class blah blah.
No he isn't. He is an ok premier league player who we need to get shot over for around 20-25m. End of

Jesse is staying. It's as simple as that.

Ole wants United to play a 433 / 4312 with very attacking wing backs. So when we're on the ball it's going to be more like a 2-1-4-1-2 where the 4 is the two wing backs and 2 midfielders (2 of van de Beek, Pogba and Fernandez).

Sancho is going to be the 1 between the midfield and strikers. He can join them from either side to make it a 3 or play off of them in the hole. Very much a free role.

Lingard is going to play that free role if Jadon is unavailable or out of form, be an option for one of the 2 central midfield positions and finally be available as wingback cover should 3 of Tripper, Shaw, wan Bissaka and Williams not be available.

There's going to be lots of opportunities for Jesse to play and his commitment and dedication to Utd is going to be a great asset to the squad. It's a squad game and we're never going to get a more talented squad player who's happy to be one if we searched until next summer.

No way should United sell Jesse Lingard. And no way will Utd sell Lingard unless he decided he wanted to go.
