Nothing they're years behind him anyway. Neither one of them is even close to being able to lead the line for 22/23. Gabi will stay played on the wing for now anyway so it's just Balogun. I think there's enough gametime for him if Abraham comes though, purely because Laca/Auba are old. If it were me I'd not have either one of them play more than 60 mins all season (standout games chasing a hat-trick the exception), with Balogun and Abraham coming off the bench. Abraham getting PL starts too and Balogun gets to start most cup games. Job done

Odsonne would have cost half of Tammy and far more proven.

Tbf that could just be my jadedness around footy at the moment, the Arteta cloud hanging over the Emirates has killed interest in football for me. As far as Tammy goes I'm just "Meh" I don't see him as a bad buy but I don't see him as a great deal either. This is AFC at the end of the day and with our record in the market, it could be way worse than TA. There is at least I think a genuine outside chance that he could step up at AFC having matured slightly and become one of the league best strikers. 40 mil punt really.

Agreed, I would absolutely prefer Edouard. We need a first-team CM far more than we need a striker anyway.

I know I can Google him, I just meant I'd heard no football fuss about him yet. eg I knew who Kylian Mbappe was before Googling him because people wouldn't shut up about him.

Edouard looks tidy enough and a potential steal at 18 mil. But I also see him and Tammy as roughly the same risk/reward potential. But with TA we getting a HG player with valuable PL playing experience Eduoard is missing. Debatable whether that's worth an extra 22 mil but I can see why we'd go that way.
