Hi all,
Hope you’re all keeping well and enjoying the weather!
Me and a couple of friends are heading up to Leeds on September 4 for the Warrington fight. Whilst I’ve been to Leeds countless times for the games, I’ve never continued on into the night.
Any particular spots you guys would recommend? Or recommend to avoid?
Looking for decent bars, restaurants etc..
Any advice would be appreciated, and if is around for the fight and fancies a pint, let me know.
ALAW.

Waiting list for the man behind the curtain is usually 6 months to a year; Michelin star set menu which I believe is £120 without wine and £200 with (or was that, anyway), so I doubt you’d get in on such short notice without knowing a waiter / chef there.
A place called Home just off of Briggate is very much the same.
Beneath Headrow House which I mentioned above is a little restaurant called the Ox Club (I think) which is also banging

I got in there without that much of a wait, think it was about 3 months but even so, yes you can’t do it spontaneously. Can’t remember exact costs, but yeah it was about £200 per head including a wine pairing each. Maybe a bit more as we had cocktails after dinner. Was a good dining experience, highly recommended.

Never actually been able to get in without an opprobrious wait, Ace, so haven’t had the pleasure! But like you, people I know that have been there have said it’s brilliant - might be a shout for a birthday present for my parents or something 👍🏼

My usual would be head to canal aft for beers in the sun if weathers kind. Then either call lane (jakes, tiki bar etc or bars near grand arcade mojos, belgrave, sellar etc.

New Conservatory in the centre is always a place i like to visit when i go to get a drink.
The alchemist is good if you fancy a fancy cocktail

Lived in Leeds 22ish years now and Roxy's is the first place mentioned that I've actually been to

Boar Lane in general offers good choices of bars & food.
Pre-match i've always enjoyed the Midnight Bell on Water Lane, does decent food and drink.
Depends what appeals to you.
Other suggestions offered by others all pretty good too. Leeds is a much better day/night out in the last few years !!
