Ole better actually challenge for the title this season then, cos the money he has spent is starting to look staggeringly high.

We’ve always spent a lot of money. So have most premier clubs. I do find the FFP related hatred against the likes of psg and city a bit ironic.

Of course you have, you're a huge club. The money you've spent has gone hand in hand with success though. You spend money and aren't successful then it's a pretty big stick to be beaten with.

We used to spend a fortune in the eighties as well, and only had the two Atkinson FA Cups to show for it.

He sure is... last chance saloon this season.

I was relating this season to Fergie's third full one the other day. That was the one where Mark Robins took us through against Forest and we beat Palace in the FA Cup final replay.

The season after that we finished sixth and won the CWC, League Cup the year after, but the title only the year after that, and then he filled his boots. Ole won't get that chance without his trophy moment this year.

Being gifted penalties is the only thing he is good at, Gollum must have some serious dirt on somebody at the PGMOL

On the OP, once of the very worst wums I've ever read. We all know the OP doesn't rate Ole. If he is such a bad manager and the team he has built is so weak, how did we finish 2nd?

A good wum needs a bit of thinking to hit the mark. Unfortunately the OP doesn't have the brain power for that.

I'd have sold Henderson and Martial

I'd have put the £100m we spent on Telles, VDB and Amad towards a CB and DM.

Smalling and Lukaku didnt want to be at the club, and quite honestly, if they werent prepared to stay and fight for their position, then they shouldnt be at the club.

Telles cost peanuts and gave shaw the kick up the backside needed.

VDB was highly regarded by many in europe who hasnt worked out.

who exactly would you have sold martial and henderson too? as far as im aware not too many teams are knocking on the door and enquiring about martial.

Dalot went out on loan.

Smalling wanted to play. He was, IMO, as good as Lindelof.

Lukaku should have been valued more by Ole and motivated to.be a success at United.

I'd prefer to use Williams as the back up FB. Would have saved us £15-20m. Shawnwas already improved before we signed Telles.

VDB has been wasted by Ole, and at £40m is a costly error.

Somebody would have taken a punt on Marrial if priced correctly, and Henderson would have got a move no problem.

I was asked.what I'd have done. Iv told.ypu. feel free to.disagree, but I'm confident with the suggestions iv.made, our squad would be in a better position right now.
