😂 they’ve still gotta get to the world cup first. Turkey looking good and knowing the Dutch there is a mass fail in there somewhere.

Aye could blow up before he even gets to the world cup. Hopefully not, it’s better when these things happen on the biggest stage. It’s why France are such a gift.

Weren’t a load of the Dutch squad including vvd dead against LVG coming back? Sure I read somewhere a lot of the senior players were vehemently against his appointment?

That was 7 years ago, so VVD was no where near his level.

But cost him a bronze medal and the chance to play in an international tournament. Van Dijk still hasn’t played in one, it may never happen for him.

That would imply that Southampton improved him massively from his days in the Dutch league/celtic. Which they didn’t. There was always a very good player there.,

Well there are always players missing out. And getting injured now is not LVGs fault.

Tbh I’m not really being serious. Van Dijk’s obviously improved massively since then, and Martins Indi was actually good that world cup.
