No issue with loans. Can understand the detriment, but if he helps us establish us as a top half side then leaves on his merry way then that's enough for me. Same as with White.

He's ideal for Bielsa's system.

Not sure he'd want to come to warm a bench. Coached by MB is probably attractive to both player and his parent club, but would the deal involve an insistence he plays, in which case i don't see him as a squad bolsterer ?

Decent player and much might depend on availability of funds - maybe we need a loan here or there to balance things ? (although they ain't free).

He's a player I've long had an eye on who could fit into the current squad without much hassle, but I don't see him as a step up from what we have already in Klich and Forshaw (assuming he's still the player he was).

If we're unsure about Forshaw then I'd perhaps get him in, but the best solution surely is to find someone better than both.

That's a yes from me. Very good player. I do understand the negative of the loan though.

Good young prospect, tenacious midfielder, will push Klich.

Shame it's only a loan.

I know he's only young, but I don't get this "Shackleton is the business" mantra. He came through the academy and I think that's enough for some people.
Is he good enough to play in the premiership? Probably not.
Picks up minutes here and there but will never be a starter. Difficult to see a role in the squad other that coming on as a late sub and I really don't know what position he plays.

Two goals and two assists in 30 games last season. Could not hit a barn door with Big Sam's beer-gut. Not worth it, in my view, as he will not improve what we already have. Next.
