Exclusive: Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld closes in on £13m transfer to Qatar as new manager Nuno Espirito Santo aims to revamp defence | @mcgrathmike https://t.co/4cZ7iMwi4s #THFC #COYS
Dier and Sanchez should be long gone before him. With us looking to buy a couple of new defenders without prem experience I would keep him for one more year at least.
Toby - Did anyone see this one coming?

Only 32 and your best defender. You'd have thought you'd get rid of the rubbish ones but I guess no one wants them.

I think we’re getting rid of all of Dier, Toby and Sanchez. Seville are very keen on Sanchez and willing to sell Kounde. We have Romero coming in as well most likely.

Who's in for Dier?

united £50m

I like how we're addressing our lack of homegrown players by targeting lots of non-homegrown players.

Wolves cheating the HG rule so guessing we are trying to do the same
if you sign enough players from one country or same league are you exempt from the rules?

Dunno but I don't want to see us become Spurez with Nuno in charge. Hopefully we see more of our younger British players next season - Tanganga, Rodon, Scarlett, Skipp etc.

Are we happy going into the new season with Rodon and Tanganga as our only experienced prem defenders?
Assuming Toby, Dier and Sanchez is off. Dier surely is on the chopping block too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No way. Hence why we are buying this Romero
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's my point Don. He has zero prem experience.
Anderson who we have been linked to does but just saw he has been linked with Palace.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not too fussed mate as long as I don’t have to see those 2 donkeys Dier and Sanchez at the centre of our defence

What is Nuno like at bringing through youngsters? My guess is pretty good but by the time he was appointed I was so weary of the manager saga that I didn't do any research about him.

I think he does alright with youth. There were a few young players involved at Wolves and we have a number of good ones coming through ourselves so it seems like they will naturally be more prevalent in the squad in the coming years. Levy always likes to see the academy products come through as well so he can maximise the value when it comes to sales.

He's good at coaching young players but Wolves bought a lot of the young players he coached. Can't think of many academy products he brought through - Gibbs-White is the only one that springs to mind. Pretty sure they bought Kilman too. Then again Wolves' academy isn't the strongest, so

Thanks AH and Spurtle for replying about Nuno. Sounds promising, with better academy players at Spurs (I'm assuming) perhaps we'll see the likes of Scarlett do well under him.
