FT: QPR 4-2 MUFC (Ole out & ffs Mike)

Pre season continues with an away game vs QPR.

Still waiting for the players that took part in the later stages of the Euros/Copa America.

100% winning record for me on match threads so far this season so here we go.

MUFC XI: Heaton, AWB, Mengi, Tuanzebe, Williams, Matic, Andreas, Pellestri, Lingard, James, Greenwood

Subs: Grant, Bishop, Fish, Bernard, Galbraith, Garner, Levitt, Hannibal, Mata, Shoretire, Elanga, Hugill.

I imagine that's going to cost just about all of them their first team place

Missed the game, caught up on highlights though.

Some good attacking play aside QPR were too good for an inexperienced backline. Good experience and work out but there were quite a few who won't make it and there are a few stragglers in need of pastures new namely Lingard, Perreira, Grant and Matic like many have already said. So disappointed with Perreira, just seems content with ambling along, don't know how he's still playing at the top level. Lingard for his sake and ours needs to go, he's better off elsewhere.

Really impressed with Elanga yet again, this kid has something about him. Mason was subdued yet again, two games in and anonymous in both. Maybe needs a loan spell, who knows

Shoretire was lively and busy.

Elanga was definitely the biggest positive. Obviously it's only a friendly, but he definitely did his chances of being involved in the first team squad no harm at all

Blimey, don't tell Simon Stone. He may stop writing about "Sancho to Utd" for the next 9 months.

Lingard didn't have his best game but got a goal and got a bit of fitness.

That's all these games are.
