I’ve always defended him but that’s getting harder to do. Definitely last chance saloon for him this season. He’s beefed up a bit so hopefully means he’s at least acknowledged he needed to do something and will now grow a pair.

I hope we do. As a player, as an athlete he’s got it all. I think at times that he tries too hard, especially after his history of injuries. Jurgen waited a year for him to arrive, he and Ox are in the same camp now, each devastated by injury, each seemingly determined to shine.

Let the boss give them their head, and see what happens.

Just get rid. Even when he's fit he is a liability. Last season subbed at half time in the villa game embarrassment and then was pathetic against Real Madrid. He is a flop who needs to go.

I didn't phone Klopp to sub him off. He did it himself because he was utterly useless.

Last chance for me, guys talented and is class when he gets going with a run of games. But hes kinda been here long enough to show he struggles to stay fit long enough, maybe its physicality of the prem or hes just weak mentally, most his injuries seem like stuff most players would play through or recover faster through will and determination, maybe his hearts just not in it. Convinced he shows a different attitude for his country.

Hes bulked up it seems so maybe he wont fall apart after a handful of games this year.

Preseason is preseason, the 45mins plus the club bigging him up in training means little.

It's about staying fit and being professional in warm ups etc.

Keita has ability but he's a quiet lad who looks like his head can drop under the injuries and pressure.

The real.madrid game where he cost us the first leg showed a lot for me. Not sure he was fit though.

We have seen him play well as a quasi left wing type player in a 4231 where he can make interceptions high up and I think one of his best assets is that ability to make interceptions and start attacks. Positionally he has a lot to offer as the forward cm in a 3.

Right now as I said elsewhere our midfield will be fabinho, thiago, henderson and we need someone to play 30mins each week as sub

The guy cant put more than 3 games together without breaking down. Thats been a consistent trend since the day he signed. You can give a bit of leeway for that sort of thing for a season but not 3.

He will be 1 of the highest earners at the club. We are getting nowhere near enough from someone who is commanding his wage. Id sell in invest in someone else who has the physical and mental toughness to start more than 10 games a season.
