Every year until COVID we had an annual charity football match where the young ish ones and the more experienced dusted down their boots and graced the hallowed turf to roll back the years and play a match in order to raise funds for an amazing Charity close to the hearts of many of us - Glasgow Children's Hospital (formerly known as Yorkhill).
After several fantastic games we moved into a Scotland v Spain annual encounter (of which Scotland are the current champions). Unfortunately COVID has prevented us playing for 2 years now. This means that monies we'd have raised have not gone towards the charity.
Ideally we can get a game set up this year but getting a pitch mid-season may be a challenge as and when everything fully reopens.
So...how about we pretend Scotland yet again played Spain and it was an exciting game with a worthy winner and we all chuck a few pounds towards the charity?
