Coutinho on loan??

If none of the other options looked like they were panning out, yes. Not to say he's a bad player, it's just with him being on the cusp of 30 and the other options being younger and intended to be brought in permanently, I'd park Coutinho until we'd exhausted the Odegaard / Maddison / [other] options.

Most of his goals for us was as a left sided forward.

Barca and Bayern were not willing to play him in midfield. He had a few games for us against crap sides in midfield.

He'd be a good player to have, I just don't know whether another big player with a diminishing reputation is what Arsenal need right now when you consider how the likes of Ozil performed and the issues that players like Aubameyang, Lacazette, Luiz etc have as well.

I've wanted him for the last few years and would happily take him, it's unlikely to happen though
