Whats everyone's view on Toby Alderweireld. Some say he was our best defender. If this was true why only Middle East bidding to pay him? No one paid his release clause of 25m either.

It actually illustrates how bad Dier Sanchez and Toby were.

Might be controversial but Rodon and Tanganga partnership could have outperformed the aforementioned three if they were given at least 8 grams together.

For me this is where we should use u23 games to test partnerships. Players can play u23 then sit on the bench for a match day. Rodon and Tanganga should have done this last season whilst Mason was selecting his mates.

I think you are probably right, which is very worrying. He is so pedestrian, and needs to be upgraded.
