Politics and sport shouldn't mix...rubbish!
Footballers are human beings too, some are just as thick as the rest of us and some don't hold back if they have something to say about the state of things in the wider world as they see it.
So in no particular order, footballers that don't/haven't hid their opinions:
George Weah - President of Liberia
Marcus Rashford - Sticking up for hungry kids.
Robbie Fowler - Supporting the Liverpool dockers.
Paulo di Canio - Big fan of Mussolini.
Megan Rapinoe - Hater of Trumpism.
Ziggy Boban - Helped start the Balkan war.
James McLean - Irish nationalist.
Gary Lineker- Not a fan of Brexit or the blonde head injury.
Nicolas Annelka - User of the Quenelle.
Pep Guardiola - Catalan nationalist.
Any others?
(Tried to multi board but the totalitarian dictators that run this place censored me...boo!)
Political footballers.

Gary Neville, rightly describing Boris Johnson as both a hypocrite and liar together with his pop at the repulsive slug Lord Digby Jones would suggest he is not a big Tory fan.
