or just in it for money and personal glory?
A lot of Sandy's accounts are now saying Kane has shown his true colours and is being disloyal to his club.
I see it differently and believe Levy / ENIC are the disloyal ones who are undermining what Spurs should be striving for. Recent history shows this to be true yet a lot of Spurs fans refuse to see it and instead blame Kane.
Harry Kane, like most footballers (and every other sportsman/woman) is ambitious and wants to win stuff. He has given the best part of his life being loyal to the club. Spurs otoh have not matched his ambitions. In fact Levy has gone out of his way to quash ANY sign of ambition that might appear.
Poch came close to winning the PL and needed 1 or 2 signings to take it up to the next level. What did Levy do? Nothing, no signings (of note) for 2 or 3 windows. NO AMBITION.
Poch gets to the CL final but unfortunately (for Spurs fans) loses. Poch again needed backing to take it to the next level. What did Levy do? Sacks Poch and brings in the master of anti-football Maureen. NO AMBITION.
Maureen (Cup specialist) gets Spurs to a cup final. What does Levy do? Sacks Maureen days before the final and brings in a novice ex-player to manage the team in this cup final. Again Spurs lose showing Levy's LACK OF AMBITION again.
In fact what this shows to everyone in the world that Levy and ENIC are SCARED to win trophies. Why would that be do you think?
Simple, it would cost them money. With a team of 'winners' the wage bill would have to increase dramatically to reward the players for their success.
Money over success wins again.
Well done Levy/ENIC

Harry Kane, ambitious

There is definitely more an element of poor management rather than no ambition. Levy cares about our club but our wage model in comparison to other clubs for me has been to our detriment for years and cost of many times in bringing in better calibre players which could have made us more competitive.
Hence the need for the stadium and the revenue it will generate, unfortunately as Levy put it the pandemic has hit us harder than anyone else with £200 mill of lost revenue coupled with a highest level of debt in Europe.
Hence am in the camp to sell Kane and invest wisely in the squad.

I can think of many times when Levy should’ve invested in the squad to capitalise on our position. He never does. He crosses his fingers and hopes we will get across the line - we never do.

That should be a major concern for ALL Spurs fans yet many seem to see it as a positive. I really don't understand that mentality.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I really don't think that is correct, a few idiots like Sandy do but not the majority, I'm one of the few that have seen Spurs win titles in the 60's and would love to see again but doubt it very much under Levy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn't say the majority but did say many. Yes some are Sandy sock accounts but not all.

And this won't change at Spurs because fans like Sandy love the fact they save Levy and ENIC money.

This too, the best run club in the premier league title
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe if it was just you Arsenal and United in the league.

As I mentioned earlier, if you'd built a stadium purely for football then you wouldn't have those levels of debt.
Why spend all that money on a dual purpose stadium when it's just not financially viable.
How much extra revenue will NFL bring in and how much of that will be used to service the debt instead of transfer funds?

About £10m a game, so £20m a season. Add in the concerts, boxing and Rugby, we are expected to bring in around £40m a season - enough to service the stadium debt each year without effecting first team spending.
Our spending/lack of is not as bad as it’s made out, we’ve just bought a lot of dross - Aurier, Sissoko, Doherty, that’s £65m worth of an absolute talent vacuum.

So approx £20m per year for the NFL games, not enough for a halfway decent player. Never going pay for itself with those returns.

Do not worry about Sandy and his opinions.
He has some ancient idea that Kane has been "tapped up" by Man City.
Harry Kane knows his own mind and what he wants to do.
And good luck to him!

From Spurs match day revenue alone the debt on the stadium will be paid back. That's why covid fecked us up the most.
It's not £10m from every NFL game. The NFL paid £10m towards the cost of the new stadium(pitch and changing rooms) . I read we will make approx £3m for every concert and sporting event held at the stadium.
The long term aim is to have an NFL franchise team playing their home matches at the stadium. That sorf of partnership will be lucrative in many commercial ways.
We still do not have a naming rights deal for the stadium either. Levy is looking for £30m a year from that alone. That is a high price but when you are holding concerts, boxing and NFL the exposure the stadium will have demands that sort of fee.
It all adds up The stadium will be able to service it's own debt from Spurs' own matchday revenue from the prem and cups games. The concerts and sporting events may contribute some too but the revenue they generate will go into the first team as will the naming rights.
In a year or two 'without' any more lockdowns we should be one of the most richest self sufficent clubs in the country. This is the hope.

According to a Man City ITK a new bid for Kane was submitted for £130m + alot more cash easily achievable add ons in the last 48 hours. Think I read around £25m to £30m in add ons.
I think this is the reason why Kane came back.
