Jack Grealish

First of all , great weekend for us.
We smashed Everton at OT and now just watched City lose the community shield.

But then there's Jack Grealish. Terrific player of course and I did enjoy watching him at Villa in recent years.
But I must admit he really is quite often useless when he's not throwing himself all over the pitch at the slightest touch and getting fouls called for him.
At the Euros , his antics didn't really work as teams stayed off of him and he looked a bit lost every time he came on as a sub for England.
And tonight for City , he looked to be waiting for any physical contact to roll around the pitch but the Leicester defenders didn't give him the chance.
Most expensive British footballer ever apparently

He's a good player. But hair and socks put me right off him. Glad we didn't sign him.

I've said all along that I can't see Grealish replicating his villa form at a big club, unless they let him play in a free role, which the bigger clubs just aren't likely to trust him enough to do.

He could well prove me wrong, but that's my opinion.

He got less than half an hour in a friendly, he'll be a good player for them, though I think he'd have suited us more.

Think they needed a top quality striker a lot more than they needed him, but he’s good addition to an already very strong squad, not 100%!if he’ll suit them. Probably would have been a better option for us than Sancho.

I think it's a lot of money for a player that is a bit of a loose cannon and who is addicted to vodka and pain killers. Great talent though.

Apparently true. I know some lads that partied with him and his mates on holiday. They are all wreck heads and he's addicted to vodka and pain killers. Apparently he takes them as all his mates are on other stuff that he can't take/risk getting caught.
