start of the Prem season just six days away. So what have we learnt?
Well for a start things are not as bad as lots of posters are making out it is. Very encouraging pre season results, if only friendlies. Unbeaten and a decent draw at the European Champions, and the comfortable if only 1-0 win over Arsenal. All this done without the so called main man Kane.
I have been hugely encouraged by some of the performances pre season. The players seem to be all putting it in a lot more. They seem to be free of the shackles of being called the Harry Kane team, and all seem to be working their socks off, and playing more as a unit. And they seem too be finishing games very strongly.
Skipp and Tanganga seem to have cemented their spots as first teamers, which is excellent news that some of our youngsters are finally making the grade at the top level. Son, Moura and Bergwijn are all working incredibly hard, and whilst Dele is not at the levels of three seasons ago, he is at least getting into the goalscoring positions, even if he is not yet actually putting them away, he could have had a hat-trick yesterday.
At the back, Regulion had his best game yesterday for a very long while, and Davison Sanchez in his first game of pre season had an excellent game, and no way will he be moved on. I except him to start against City.
The only problem I currently see is there is not yet enough creativity in midfield. PEH is all action, Skipp is a very tidy player, but there still is no replacement for Eriksen. Lo Celso if he can get himself on the pitch on a regular basis may improve, N`dombele I have all but given up on, complete waste of time.
With the new players yet to come in, and possibly even Kane to return, then I think it is all looking very positive for the new season. Certainly not as gloomy as lots of posters on the board are making it out to be.
New manager, new attitude. Whilst Nuno may not have been first choice, it looks a very wise appointment now. He is very humble and articulate, and I don`t see him falling out with to many players. I cannot wait for the opener next weekend.

Decent enough pre-season, though I thought we were outplayed by Chelsea. But with all the manager/Kane issues surrounding the break, we've done well enough on the pitch.
Skipp and Tanganga have looked good, I think it's too soon to suggest they are nailed on starters. Skipp definately has potential, I can see him being a mainstay in the team at some point. He and PEH with GLC could work. Ndombele, if he gave a sh!t could excel with those two behind him.
I still don't rate Alli, he continues to slow up play and can be so frustrating on the ball. Lucas and Son have been our best players during pre-season, and deserve to start.
I just wish this Kane issue would be resolved, but it looks as though it will go to the wire and there won't be a single striker on the pitch v City.
Good luck to Nuno

I don`t actually wind them up, they wind themselves up with there silly conspiracy theories about me having multiple accounts, when I have only ever had one account. Amazing how grown men can spend more time posting about me, than posting about Spurs. Maybe because in reality they know very little about Spurs.

In the 433 I think its either Dele or Lo Celso in the midfield.
Bergwijn and Gil should battle for the 3rd spot next to Lucas and Son up front.
Ndombele can be sold to help fund Palhinha and Sabitzer

I still think the following players are bang average:
Dier, Sanchez, Sisokko, Winks, Dele, Aurier, Doherty.
Promising but not quite there:
Skipp, Tanganga, Bergwijn, Gil
Can be decent but inconsistent:
Moura, NDombele, LoCelso
Good:
Reguillion, son, Lloris, Hojberg
WC:
Kane
Got to hope one of LoCelso and NDom comes good.

I still think there is a player in there somewhere with Sanchez
He needs an organiser by him and looked good when Toby had his legs as well as his organisation. Can’t play dier and Sanchez together and dier is well…… dire
I wish he would lose the bulk and become a dm again….he was good at dropping in to make a 3 when the full backs bomb on
Dele is in last chance saloon this season but I’d like to see him get that chance
The rest of the average list can do one!

Dier and Sanchez played togther yesterday, and looked OK, but obviously with the new man coming in, then one will drop out. Hopefully that will be Dier.
N`dombele should not even be in the equation, he has shown absolutely nothing, and is still showing nothing, he needs to definitely go. If Spurs can get half what they paid for him, then they should take it, and move on.
Sissoko will definitely go, as will Aurier if reports that he wants out. Sessignon as well not had a minute of pre season, so I think he is done as well. Doherty was a poor buy, and Winks doesn`t offer much, but they may keep as a back up.

I think the home grown rule may save winks
I think sessognon has been injured? I still want to see more of him
Doherty was an awful buy…..had a purple patch is all and he looked good for a while for wolves but was nothing more than a bit of form going on what we have seen from him….doesn’t do anything !
I’m not sure on ndombele….due to his ability I want to keep persevering but like dele it’s last chance. I’m hoping his absence will be explained soon
