On paper, Messi, Eto'o and Henry is up there in terms of individual quality.

On the other hand, the absolute peak of Barcelona as an attacking force was probably when Messi was more often than not accompanied by Villa and Pedro, which serves as a reminder that often structure is more important than individual talent (and that having the world's greatest midfield at the peak of its powers is handy).

Not for me. There were a meh to be honest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Both of the above? You could argue that the Messi-Neymar-Suarez attack carried Barcelona in a way that none of Guardiola's front threes did. But I think it's hard to argue that Luis Enrique's Barcelona was a better attacking side than Guardiola's. It's just that it's deadly attacking control was delivered above all by a Xavi-Iniesta-Messi trio rather than a forward line.

I reiterate they were a bit MEH...

Messi, Henry Eto'o got 100 between them in a season

Messi, Pedro and Villa got 98

Messi, Pedro and Sanchez got 101, though granted Messi got 73 of them

Messi, Suarez, Neymar got 122 their first season and then 131 their second season and 112 in their third season.

Must be shat to be a Barca fan having to pay to watch all that

Messi, Pedro and Villa was the most fun to watch, even if they weren’t as good as the others.

Cavani, Neymar and Mbappe got 85 and then 87
