What's Laporte worth in today's market - £50m maybe? He's definitely one of the world's better centre halves, even if he's not absolutely top tier (though I'm scratching around a bit to think of many better just off the top of my head).
If he's worth £50m, then you'd think £100m on top of that would represent pretty good value for Kane. And it would solve a major issue for Spurs' defence, leaving more than enough over to bring in a couple of good strikers too. Vlahovic + Edouard, yes please
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If he is supposedly one of the world`s top CBs, you have to ask yourself why are Man City prepared to let him go?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, I sort of agree - I rate Laporte higher than Stones - but then, Stones is home grown so maybe City need that? Or maybe Guardiola sees something in Stones he likes that Laporte doesn't have. I don't know. Laporte has been largely excellent for City since they bought him though, so I do agree it's odd that they want rid when they're happy to keep Ake... then again Ake is home-grown too, so that could well be it.
Laporte is several classes above Spurs' current options so he'd be a really good signing.

Nuno doesn't play with out and out strikers, so Kane is surplus to requirements at Spurs.

Anyone see the training vid on Spurs Twitter just now? Ndombele not looking as slim as he did yday in that pic going around.
Imagine thinking that photo was NOT photoshopped

Wasn't a pic, video on Aurier instagram

I was referring to a pic like this one.

I mean if that is really real then fair play to him. Let's hope less weight = more mobility and a better attitude.

Doesn't really matter if we take it or leave it. The main issue is to get it done one way or the other ASAP.
If not, we will definitely start the season without a CF, and knowing Levy, he will dither over a replacement all the way into the next transfer window, by which time our season will be over.
Please Levy, don't do another Berbatov. Remember how that panned out.

Lets see if it enough to impress Nuno. The guy has already wasted the best part of his first two years with us. He can't get any worse can he?

Tanguy Ndombele was literally one of our better players last season and put in good performances more often than not despite being coached by a faaacking troglodyte who wanted the midfield to have as little of the ball as possible
But because Ryan mason didn't rate him and he's not played in pre season yet suddenly everyone has forgotten all of that and acted as if his second season was a carbon copy of his first

Also implying that Ryan Mason is a good manager/judge of ability

One would hope he is considering he is in charge of youth developement at the club.
Ndombele was subbed alot last season and hardly played towards the end. Would love hin to play 5 games on the trot playing every minute like PEH often did last season. Just 5 games is all I ask (for now).
