The recent pundit poll showed most of them putting chelsea and city in a title race with Liverpool either 3rd or 4th.
Now some might say 4th is fine given only one pundit even bought leicester up but I think there are 3 things these pundits have questions about Liverpool that they need to see before revising their thoughts that are easily distracted by shiny big signings.
1. Is vvd any good any more? (A year out is a big deal)
2. Are the Liverpool front 3 any good any more? (Mane and firmino has absolute stinkers last year)
3. What midfield 3 can we cobble together out of the crocks. (Thiago, henderson, Ox, keita and even fabinho all had long injuries)
Imo there's enough questions marks for these pundits to question us but I'd love to know how they dismiss questions like will lukaku fall over the ball 10 times a game or only 5 since his Italian spell or will ambramovich sack tuchel after 6 games randomly.
Or how will city compete in the world synchronised diving championships and the prem at the same time? Or indeed precisely how does grealish actually improve city at all?

Off top of my head we dropped 19 points to brighton fulham west brom burnley and newcastle, a horrific return. These sort of results though just havent happened over the course of the last few seasons for us. Id expect a lot of these results to sort themselves out this around.

Obviously some of you gave not watched pre season..so.heres a summary:
1 Mane is on fire, sharp intense and a bundle of explosive power.
2 Firmino is on fire, 2 goals last game and looks completely refreshed.
3 AOC is on fire, explosive pace is back and he was arguably mom last match
4 Matip and Gomez are purring, back up to speed already and playing lovely passes from back
5 VVD does look like he not quite back to.best, but a 90% vvd is better than 99% of every other premium CB.
6 keita is on fire, he has had a great pre season and is a certain mf starter imo.
7 Elliott is on fire....one of the stars of pre season
8 Costas is on fire, set up loads and plays EXACTLY like Robertson if bot better!!
Btw...that's not a biased view...go check the pre season comments on the matches. Liverpool have been severely underestimated...
