Romero was Serie A defender of the year, Gil is one of the highest rated youngsters on the planet and Gollini is the most accomplished back up keeper I have seen at Spurs in a very long time.

I fully expect Kane will go and we will bring in a CB in the mould of Kounde/Lacroix/Torres. Personally I think the Milenkovic rumour is nonsense.

Tomiyasu will come in at right back.

Vlahovic and another will come in as the new strikers and we will look the most balanced we have been for some time. The issue is the season starts tomo, so in true spurs style August is practically a write off.

Some of those players won’t work out at all, some will take time to settle and some will hit the ground running. Overall though - I’m very confident.

I can’t really argue with this at the moment. A good season for us would be finishing above Spurs because it would probably mean we are battling for the Conference/Europa League spots, which realistically is where both clubs are at given the quality of the top 4.
