Salah

We are so lucky to have him

We don't do the sort of wages he would demand.

As said by many here, my money would be in Bayern at the moment

I can see us doing our usual idiocy and offering stupid wages to him, which if anything will be the reason he’d come to us..

Exactly. If he was anything other than stellar you would regret it though. Looks as close to a sure bet as they come though really

I can see him moving to Bayern.

Pl I think is his preferred destination. Loves the league. I out City and Chelsea as favourites. United think they are in with a chance cos of Ole but let's be serious, he will want to play under one of the best coaches around and Ole is nowhere near that.

Also the fact Keane done his old man and they have been posting memes teasing united fans for years means I can't see it. If Ole gets fired maybe but long as he is there I don't see anyone worrying about united other than theit bank manager.

Ole will prove you wrong, as he has the last two seasons

Salah agent during the game quoted "hope they are watching"

Looks like new contract negotiations are not going well.

Watching him yesterday, I couldn’t help but notice that he’s the man the plays, good or bad, with a smile on his face. Sure, at times he shows frustration and anger, I think at himself when his shot, pass, move etc., doesn’t come off every time.

But the smile, inevitably, returns. He’s at peace with himself, the game, the club, the world. What a guy.

I dont ever envisage him other than playing for us for the remainder of his career.

Comments made by the wums about him moving elsewhere merely display an abject envy which they can’t conceal.

Poor wee things.

How has he proved me wrong? I said he isn't good enough and he has spent 400 million and done f all. Liverpool had the worst injuries they've had in decades and how far ahead were United, after one of their supposed best seasons ever in recent times, ahead of Liverpool in pts and gd? Exactly.

Not likely if they both blow 100m+ on strikers this year. That’s why his only option will be us. Real, barca skint, bayern possibly don’t see it though, Psg not likely.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why are we not an option? Firmino will need replaced at some point and although the owners have kept things tight of late they have also previously proven if a deal makes financial sense they will pursue it.

75m for a striker who could play for the club for the next 10 years. I think we will be all over that. Not saying we will sign him but I expect us to be in the conversation. It ticks all the boxes for our owners.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe, I’m not sure I’d have you in with the front runners, but never say never.. ofcourse who’s to say madrid might not find cash under the sofa and go straight to the top of his destination list too…
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As you said yourself, chelsea and (probably) city will have new 100m strikers on their books this season, barca are skint, madrid seem hell bent on mbappe so who does that really leave?

Essentially psg bayern us and yous. If he is set on a move to the prem then realistically it only leaves us and yous. Id say that puts us amongst the favs for a deal.

I think our owners are shrewd. If they see the chance to sign a guy for 75m who will potentially play for the club for 10 years i think theyd pay it.

We dont pay the blanket wages that some others do but its well documented our contracts are topped up with incentives which if joining a successful team should be met.

Its no secret our front 3 arent getting any younger. I think we will be in the mix for him. He is a perfect firmino replacement.
