excellent, if predictable Spurs over City again. It is not really a surprise anymore that Spurs beat City at home. Anyway on to a busy week, trip to Portugal, then Wolves away next weekend.
The team looked really good yesterday, and would not expect Nuno to make any changes for Wolves. None of the team deserved to be dropped, and other players will have to earn their place in the team.

Sandy: Brilliant win for Spurs against the champions. Kane or not Kane, I think Spurs will win the league this season, especially if we keep putting in performances like that!

Listening to all the media talk yesterday, it still amazes me how low the media, and Sky in particular, rate Spurs as a PL team.
The commentary, pre match and post match discussions came across as if City were playing someone like ( absolutely no disrespect intended ) Norwich, Burnley or Palace, who have never been anywhere near the top end of football.
The media seem to have forgotten that Spurs were regular top 4, regular CL and were in the CL Final less than two years ago. Plus they still gave a co efficient of 88,000, which places them 15th in the European co efficient tables. Above the likes of Porto, Ajax, Shakhtar, Napoli and Liepzig. And only 2000 behind Dortmund.
They have had one average season and one poor season, in a period where they had considerable upheaval with managers, the most important person if you want success.
We are now, apparently a "minnow" a "small club" that apparently cause a major upset by even just competing with one of the teams they consider to be the "top teams" nowadays.
They appear to have very short memories, and not much respect for anyone other than teams that buy success, with little regard for FFP regulations.
I am happy for Spurs to stay under the radar, but come on, some respect for the size of the club and it's overall standing in the scheme of things across Europe please.

Yeah, you are of course right, but what do we do, stop watching football related TV programmes ? move into the dark ages and just guess what is happening ?
All I am saying is how one sided media reporting has become.
Even this morning all we keep seeings one "pundit" after another coming on Sky and talking about why City did not win, but with no reference to the performance of the team they were playing.

It's the football food chain. If we'd lost to Brentford in the same way Arsenal did, the headline would be about how poor we were. Brentford would be the footnote. Sky have nothing against us but if anyone beats their beloved 'top 4', that's the story. I'm getting a bit sick of them talking about 'that' four over and over again. It's disrespectful. The league is far more competitive than they make out.

Also it is Neville's job to talk about the actual match. Not stand on the pitch at WHL trying to flog Spurs best player to Man City.
