Just woke up Bhoys ( 5.30 am here ), Great result Bhoys, pleased to see Celtic doing well in Europa League. Hope you get through the second leg ok, all good for the coefficient.

It's important both our clubs have good Europa League runs so we get that higher coefficient ranking and cut out as many early round qualifiers as possible.

Obviously in the league I hope you get trounced 👍

Pleased to see Ange doing well, he's a decent bloke, and has a lot of successful club and international management experience that was quickly dismissed by lots of Scottish fans and media.

One word of caution though, I think his football style will be great in Europe and also at home. Games at Celtic park. Not sure how he can adapt his style and team to away games at Livingston and Ross county where they pack their defense and hit you on the break.

I am also curious to see how he solves the Celtic defense issues

You've got one right back who can't defend and another who is OK going forward but has no positional sense and is a hothead.

We have one right back who is all of that.

There isn't a quality centre half in either squad.

Our left back is an international who can't get a game. So is yours.

Hearing some really good things about Scales from a couple of mates that follow Bohemians. Bohs and Rovers hate each other but both the lads said theyd be surprised if hes not a success at Celtic. Fwiw!

Signing Joe Hart was a good move agreed. But is he going to keep barkas and bain? You need to sign another goalkeeper in case Hart gets injured

Rangers RB - Tav and Patterson - proved last season they are good enough for SPFL. This season Tav looks off the pace, but that will improve in coming games

Rangers LB - BB and Basey - BB does not look match fit but bassey looks excellent prospect. BB will come onto his game or possibly may be sold this window. Bassey is adequate cover.

CB - Goldson is Mr reliable - proved it over several seasons

CB - Helander - top defender for us, has great record when he plays for us. We rotate him with balogen a lot though. Balogen has more pace.

CB - Balogen - cost us recently but has been very good for us last season.

CB - Katic - come back from major injury - unsure if he will be put out on loan this season.

CB - Simpson - was used last season, looked a bit uncertain at times but no major mistakes.

We also have some utility players that can do defence if necessary, arfield etc.

I don't see Celtic are anywhere near Rangers defence squad wise.

Don't get me wrong, Celtic midfield and attack have improved under Ange, 👍. But even attack, your squad is thin. A few injuries to Eduard and your Kyogo, and you are back to Ajeti.

I am also looking forward to having Ryan Jack back, he will be like a new signing for us this season.

Greek Pedro has made some astute buys, well Kyogo looks top class anyway, lets see how he copes on the plastic pitches in December the wee cant.

Genuine title race on i think, if we can get over what was hopefully just an early season blip.
