That was always never going to be

easy, so am ecstatic that Spurs ground out another 1-0 win. If you can keep clean sheets, then you don`t have to be scoring three or four every game. This is just the sort of start Spurs needed from a difficult first two matches. It was nice to defend a lead for 81 minutes, something alien to Spurs usually.

Well done Nuno Although I thought your subs were slightly strange taking off both Son and Moura, but hey ho job done.

The match itself, Wolves were by far the better team for most of the match, but totally toothless in front of goal, and whilst Traore did cause Spurs some problems for an hour, he is totally useless once he gets anywhere near goal, so Hugo didn`t have a lot to save. As with last week and in pre season, Spurs came into more in the 2nd half, and could have had a couple more, goalie made some decent saves.

Not perfect today by any means, but it gives Nuno something to work with, and looks like an integrated Kane back into the side will certainly make the team much stronger. Midfield still looks not particularly strong, lots of workers, but no real craft. But in time I am sure that will sort itself out.

After a shaky start, both Dier and Sanchez grew into the game, and put in some decent blocks, so fair play to them. Imagine two clean sheets with those clowns Don. Dele put in a shift, scored the winner, cannot ask for much more.

All in all a decent days work. Sitting third in the table, not bad, with no goals conceeded, going into games against Watford and Palace.

COYS.

Enjoyed the reffing today, telling players to get up. Alli especially. A guy his size should be trying to stay on his feet

Sandy, today proves we are a much better team with Harry playing. He was a class above even if he did miss a sitter. Time to pull the plug on City and keep him. Then strengthen further in the window. Great result.

Great result, average performance - I will take that every day of the week.

If Traore could finish he would be world class and we wouldn’t have won.

Go through on Thursday and beat Watford on Sunday, and all the bed wetting over last thursdays game will be forgotten, even Ted may crack a smile

I would like us to signed a Palhinha or another tenacious but technical midfielder.

We definitely need a No.10 with Ndombele leaving. We don't have anyone that can dictate play. Skipp is a great addition to the squad but we need to sign an upgrade so Winks and Sissoko can leave.

Don, of course Spurs are better with Kane. Hopefully he has learned his lesson and will now settle down, play for Spurs, and see out his contract.

And feck that financially doped club, and its plastic supporters.

Ted will be on later, saying how Spurs were rubbish, and should have lost 6-0, and Kane needs to go to City. He is such a miserable fecker.

Yes, it was always going to be a tough game, Wolves were playing for the first time in front of a full home crowd and against their former manager, so a bad time to play them.

The performance was not great, but a battling and valuable 3 points none the less.

Over to Levy to make sure Kane stays (we are so much better with him) and to get us another defender, creative midfielder and another striker, along with shifting our deadwood.

Gotta thank Traore for that one-on-one with Lloris miss.

Our defence of Sanchez and Dier did surprisingly well.
How Wolves didn't score was puzzling at times, so I put it down to these two.
Tanganga was aggressive with Traore until he got into card trouble.
Thought Reguilon was our best attacking threat.
Not very impressed with Skipp.
Our midfield was dominated by theirs, which is why they camped in our half.
Hojbjerg had more than his share to do to make up for Skipp.

Alli is back, which we need badly.
Dunno what Kane's 10 mins actually means vs-a-vis the requested transfer?

Sandy...
Son did not have a good game, so I think that's why Nuno took him off.
Moura's replacement by Winks was a defensive move to protect our lead?
