On Tuesday Bruno will take the squad to the east midlands to take on Nottingham Forest in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
Wolves had their appeals to move the game to Wednesday due to fixture congestion turned down. The reason given was that on Wednesday there is a cricket match at Trent Bridge. The fear was that the Forest fans would rather go to watch the cricket than see any more of Chris Hughton’s boring football.

The last time the two sides met at The City Ground was in Wolves' Championship title winning season of 2017/18, a game that Wolves won 2-1 with both the visitors goals scored by Diogo Jota. Of the 18 man Wolves squad that day only four are currently Wolves players.

The final meeting between the two sides that season was at Molineux in 2018. Forest took the honours that day with a 2-0 win. The two first half goals were scored by Kieran Dowell and Ben Osborn

The two sides haven’t met in a league cup game for 27 years.

Forest are through to the second round of the competition thanks to a first round 2-1 win over Bradford City, both The Red’s goals being scored by Portuguese midfielder Joao Carvalho who, if picked, may well be facing several of his countrymen in this tie.

Chris Hughton will be looking for an improved performance from his players having lost all four of their opening league games, leaving them bottom of the table. While the Forest fans will be looking for an improved performance from Chris Hughton whose team selections are causing a lot Forest fans to scratch their heads resulting in a lot of splinters in their fingers.

Wolves are rumoured to be interested in a couple of signings from the Championship which would please Boston.

Keiffer Moore has been doing well for Cardiff and impressed for Wales at the euros. Strong in the air and holding the ball up, he is thought to be good cover for Jimenez

QPR centre back Dickie has been attracting a lot of interest with his centre back performances. Scored a cracker for Rangers last night

Both are worth a punt, will not cost a fortune and will be relatively low wages.
They will be keen as well.

I always said after the fixtures came out that we could play well in our first three league games and still have no points

And I always thought that I was the one on here stating RAA.

And for the first time, you are right in stating that. 😂

Wolves now being linked with Marseille’s Serbian centre back Duje Caleta-Car

Romano has also said that we are after Botman but Sevilla are also keen

No way we can get boatman but I'd love it

Botman would be a fabulous signing. Only 21 but a regular in Lille’s title winning team last season. The price being quoted of €25m hardly looks a deal breaker

Can't imagine he would knock back Sevilla for us unfortunately. Guess it depends which league he rates.

The new 3rd kit is a bit sweet
