The clown-in-chief is back doing what he does best: flattering the clownbase. He called the away fans (who were great, by the way) the best fans in the world. What about explaining why his players couldn’t manage a string of three decent passes?

OK, if you are incapable of answering the question in its simplest format, try this? If Ole takes the blame for a lacklustre performance today, to whom should the credit go for last week's exhilarating win?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To individual brilliance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So down to the players then.

Shouldn't Fiddler be raging at the players about yesterday then, if it's all down to them?

That's 'Fiddler-in-Chief' to you.
No doubt he's currently thinking of a way to apportion blame to Rashford for yesterday's result.

If Bruno was less careless in possession and Fred wasn't, well, Fred, we’d have probably won fairy easy yesterday.
We were creating chances and they didn’t really have a sniff until their goal.

Yeah, there is a grown up conversation to be had about the way we set up yesterday the team selection and how individuals performed, but this thread isn't it

Exactly.
We dawdled on the ball too much we should have put them to the sword in the first half. We had more than enough chances to.
These idiots ruin this board

My thoughts were that we weren't brave enough. McTominay's a big miss in that system as he doesn't sit back like Matic and Fred do, and he's very positive with his passing. Martial looks miles off the pace at the moment as well, the question is are you patient with him while he gets up to speed?
He's obviously decided that's the only system that can accommodate Pogba, so the team selection at Wolves will be very interesting.

It’s hardly ole’s fault McT, Fred and matic are not up to the job. They are a weak link, I’m sure this has been identified by Ole and he’s waiting for the club to provide better players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And what about humiliating DVB by not even giving a chance, I mean a real chance, not ten minutes at the end of the game ? What about asking Lukaku, one of the best strikers in Europe, to play on the wing to accommodate Rashford ? Is he to blame for that, or it the Glazers’s fault ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lukaku wasnt close to being one of the best strikers in Europe. Stop embarrassing yourself. And he'd already made clear his desire to leave. You think Ole was going to give him preferential treatment after that? Besides, he actually played better on the right from what I remember. Got a few decent assists.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Stop embarrassing yourself by justifying every idiotic decision by an embarrassingly incompetent manager.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lukaku was openly talking about moving to Italy whilst Jose will still in charge. And he wasn't in great form. Why would Ole make him his main man? And he did actually have a few decent games from the right for us, putting in some decent crosses. There was talk about whether he would stay, but he made it clear in a meeting with Ole that he did want to leave and move to Italy. He wasn't up for the challenge of proving that he was up to being United's no.9.
Fair play to him though, he looks a lot fitter now and his hold up play yesterday looked a lot better than his time at United.

Indeed. With Nuno gone, I wonder if they'll be a bit more adventurous.
Should be fascinating
