Phenomenal of UEFA to recognise just how crucial Simon Kjaer and the Danish medical team were in saving Eriksen's life.

All will be recognised with the UEFA President's Award and quite rightfully so. I do think it is slightly unfair to not recognise Anthony Taylor in amongst all of this too, as his quick decision making surely helped save Eriksen also? Perhaps he doesn't qualify for the award due to being a referee, so will be recognised in a different way.
The day Eriksen collapsed is a day that I think all of football will remember, not to mention because of the disgraceful antics of the BBC who decided to show the whole thing live; no care or consideration for Eriksen or his poor family who must've thought he was dead. I still cannot believe there hasn't been a public inquiry into just exactly what happened inside the BBC production unit to hold the right people responsible.
Thank God Eriksen is ok and healthy now. Full applause to all those who saved him.
Fantastic Recognition To Kjaer + Denmark

“…. what the BBC did was outrageous, sadistic, callous and cruel. A public enquiry must take place.”
Stop it with the hyperbolic Daily Mail headline nonsense and people may take you seriously.

Have some empathy. Imagine if it was you, or a member of your family in Eriksen's place. Would you be happy with what the BBC did??

Culer,
Your criticisms of the BBC are just tiresome. The feed wasn't controlled by them. Sure, they could have cut to the studio maybe but then you saw how visibly upset Alex Scott was when they cut back 15 mins later. You expect them to be able to keep it together under those circumstances. It's interesting that you didn't consider turning it off yourself if you were so morally outraged. You see, I don't think you actually are. You just like to say you are as it's a perfect example of virtue signalling. If you publicly cry outrage, it boosts your profile as a morally upstanding citizen but at the heart of it, that's just not true is it. If it were you'd have turned off and walked out of the door. This level of moral hypocrisy does my head in. Just admit you watched it. It wasn't very nice but at the end of the day he survived and we got to witness the greatest show of togetherness between the Danish players and the entire football community. Something that would have been lost had they just cut the feed.
I agree there were some close up shots that were unnecessary but aim your arrows at UEFA, not the BBC. They're not the enemy here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You say that as if I am on here every single day demanding the head of Tim Davie. I was extremely offended by what they decided to show, as many millions around the world were.
We must keep in mind that the BBC are a public body and I do strongly feel that there should be a public enquiry into what exactly happened. Those who were sadistic enough to show every second of that should be held accountable, it's in the interest of the public.
Also I couldn't actually turn it over because I was watching it in a place where I couldn't control what was on the television. You can moan all you like but what the BBC did was outrageous, sadistic, callous and cruel. A public enquiry must take place.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, I say you could have walked out of any bar you might have been in if you didn't have control of the remote.
Again, aim your arrows at UEFA, not the BBC.
Did you even read my response?

It was uefa. Read what fridgeboy wrote, instead of getting all excited beside your joseph Rees mogg poster, and lashing out at easy targets (that you don’t actually care about, you just do it as part of your stupid game).

If you want to defend what the BBC then be my guest, but it says a lot about your morality as a person.

A) a pant sniffing mummy’s boy tory who gets all upset at little things because he got breast fed until 16.
B) a wum who writes crap like this to get responses as part of some odd online game.

Oh, and that article you posted? As soon as I read the words 'social media storm' it lost all credibility to me. What stirs up the masses on their socials tends to be a bunch of equally self-serving individuals, hell bent on canceling people or corporations for the sole purpose of boosting their own profile. Like I said earlier, it's all about self-promotion. "I am disgusted by this and that" actually translates as "I am so morally upstanding and wonderful that I cannot believe this and that is happening." That's not always the case but it certainly is on social media, where building your 'brand' is what counts. It's poisonous.

Debate? Fack off culer. There’s no debate just you making accusations as part of your game. Fridge boy pointed out where you went wrong, but you refuse to recognise it- ergo, playing your silly game.
