Pep

Officially declares he will be leaving City in 2023 to go and manage a national team. The best facking news I’ve heard in ages.

Be interesting to see how this impacts their transfer business now as well, and who will be his successor.

Which might be true and which also suggests that generally (which was my point) food in the county isn’t great because you have to search hard to find something decent.

Take service stations, this county is a mess when it comes to food at these places, you’re better off eating a turrd. And this for me is an example of how poor the general public’s view of food is. I was in Spain a couple years ago, we were starving and the middle of nowhere, stopped at a petrol station and ended up having one of the best plates of pig trotters I’ve ever tasted.

You don't though. I can walk through Hockley now and there are at least 20 decent restaurants all reasonably priced with a wide variety. Google it.

Your opinion is incredibly out dated. How do you think these restaurants stay open? The toff 1% of London travelling around?

Give your head a wobble.

Seems quite a soon "official" announcement to me as that's virtually another 2 full seasons before that happens, they usually announce it a few months before.

If that does work out to be the case though and things don't change, it probably would be a decent time for him to leave given the amount of years he's been there for. I'm sure he will be hoping for a CL trophy in his remaining time at City.

Far too soon to be talking about a successor yet though.

Similar in Thailand, 14 hour bus ride, stopped at some tiny place in the arrse end of nowhere, all there was was some dish with bizarrely a fried egg on top. Didn’t look great but at 3am I was starving- turned out it was absolutely glorious. Unbelievably good. Are lots of street food for about 10p a go which was unbelievably good, flash cooked right in front of you with a wok.

Hockley in Essex? The main place that comes up is a place called Turkish Kitchinn and the photos don’t look very good. Way too much on the plate, too much drizzled sauce on horrible square plates, exactly what I don’t want. I live in east London, we have one of the biggest Turkish communities and best Turkish to eat, none of them look like this mess.

No Hockley in Nottingham.

As said, people from London think there is nothing outside it and it leads to views like this. It's so overrated it's painful.

There's plenty outside of London but I don't think your average joe in this country (London included) has a good idea of food.

Hockley in Nottingham looks very nice, I'd imagine it's quite a middle class area meaning it isn't really representative of general food in the country which is my point.

London isn't overrated, it's just stupidly expensive and offers little in the way of space and nature. Quite a few friends left London over lockdown to be closer to family and to get some green space, most of them really enjoy it but pretty much every one of them complain about the food options.

Yeah I can tell by the smog, violence, crime, lack of space, water that's been through 15 kidneys, mass homelessness and huge amounts of drugs all underlined with massive inequality
