Sky's Kane Coverage

Honestly how pathetic has their coverage of this 'saga' been over the summer?

Non stop reporting on it day in day out pretty well since the Euro's ended.

Reporting no news as if it's news time and time again, they so desperately wanted the sale so they had a big story to report.

Asking everyone and their granny what they think of the situation despite none of them having a scooby what's gone on behind the scenes.

Social Media pages posting update after update, literally 3/4 times a day.

They'll still talk about it non stop despite Kane himself putting it to rest.

I stopped listening a few years ago when Durham actually questioned Spurs right to exist?

Of course the media are not going to miss an opportunity to stick the knife into Spurs, we are not one of their darling clubs and are seen as a threat to their cozy little cartel of clubs, those that generate them the most revenue and who must be talked up at all times.

Hence the desperation in the media for Spurs to sell Kane, they know it almost certainly would eliminate us from the top 4 equation, and consequently leave the door open for their most fiscally advantageous clubs.

You won`t see the same excitement when a Penited or Varpool player wants to leave, in fact the reaction will be quite the opposite.

Rubbish.

Pogba's agent has mouthed off a few times when utd crashed out of the CL saying he wanted to play CL football and Sky have gone to town on it.

Coutinho got alot of coverage too when he wouldn't sign a new contract for Liverpool.

Sky ran the Gerard to Chelsea transfer similar to Kane as well.

Next.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nonsense.

Pogba, Gerrard and Coutinho did not receive even half the media coverage Kane has.

With Kane, it was gleeful reporting on a daily basis, stirring up shiete to fuel their agenda.

With the others it was a collective of media grief and devastation, how dare anybody take a player from their darling clubs.

Pogba, Gerard and Coutinho were all headline news and at the top of show. Kane's brother fed alot of a stuff Sky so obviously they were going to keep on reporting about him. Classic example was when he did not show up for training.

This may not have been a sky reporter but Southgate was just asked if he was disappointed that Kane did not get his move and was he worried he is not playing CL football?

To Southgate's credit, he gave an intelligent response and showed the journalist up.

Can you find me an article where I've moaned about lack of coverage?

Don't drag me into pal, especially as you are clearly just "firing it off" with no actual evidence.
I have always made it clear on my loathing for the media, especially Sky, and have been giving the same message out that the poster has, on several occasions.

If you can't understand the difference between positive and negative media coverage, then go away and read up on how the media works. Or just watch Sky for half an hour.

Mate, if you want a row, which appears the case, suggest you go home and either pick an argument with the wife, or kick the dog or something.

Sometimes there's no smoke without fire and hasn't there been 'rumblings' about his alleged wish to leave for almost a year? Much of it stoked on this site. I think there was a general and partially informed opinion that there was maybe a deal to be done - there probably was albeit at daft money?

Still better than the 'XXXXXX have bid £YYm for ZZZZZ' which is followed the next day by XXXXXXX putting out a statement saying they've never heard of player ZZZZZ.
