A tough group. Hopefully we can go through 2nd.

If people are comparing Atalanta to Leeds that will be 5-1 to United. Dream on Leeds. Once upon a time and hope is always commendable if often misguided. Yorkshire can play cricket. Not so good at football these days and only had one team in recent years.
And by the way, it's 4oz plain flour, 2 eggs and 1/2 pint milk and it goes with any roast, not just mad cows.

Aside from last time, and the juve/Valencia group before that. we haven’t had tough groups at all in post saf days. Pretty favourable draws otherwise.

Liverpool's group is the hardest to qualify from, City's is the hardest to win, Chelsea's is the easiest to qualify from but ours is probably the easiest to win. That's my take on it.

The Villarreal games will no doubt be brutal. They always set out to play like peak Nuno Wolves against us

Never been worried about group draws in Europe or domestic cup draws. To win you may have to beat the best. If you can't you don't deserve the trophy. Yes, the odd strange result comes up. Even the biggest teams have had one of those. The beauty of cup football. Champions league final - Accrington or Crewe v Real? Love to see that in the last years of my life. OK, this must be dementia setting in! But if teams like Chelsea can do it there is hope for Accrington Stanley.

And it’s effective. The likes of leeds would do well to adapt to that way of thinking.

You can finish third in this group & have another crack at the Euromick if you concentrate & take it seriously
