If you go to Leverkusen you will want to base yourself in Cologne. Can get a taxi to the stadium in around 15 mins from the city centre. The town of Leverkusen itself is boring and very bleak. Very industrial with maybe one or two bars max.

Would love to see a Cologne game. Their anthem is incredible. Mate of mine went to a game a few years back as he was in the city for work. Had no affiliation with the club but he told me when that anthem started blaring out of the speakers and the fans started singing the hairs on his neck stood up. Gave him goosebumps.

Been to quite a few cities in Germany and Cologne for me is the best. The Kolsch beer is beautiful too

Pascha is worth a visit as well
