Team news for Watford

Guys

"We did the recovery with the players who were on the pitch. Did a good training session and preparing for the match against Watford. Joe still has problems, Cameron the same."

Nuno confirmed when I asked that Tanguy Ndombele is not an option for the weekend as his situation has not changed.

Should loan Rodon out if he can't be get a regular start.

But if the 17 player non HG quota is a problem I would still sell Sanchez and keep Rodon. Hopefully sell Aurier and bring in Tomiyasu.

I agree with the sentiment of not wanting skipp and Højbjerg to start

only HG in the premier league not europe

think we are fine for Non HG players as it is, so if Aurier and Sissoko go we can fill 2 slots with signings

What's going on with Ndombele? Is he refusing to train or not training to Nuno's desired level?

Seems a bit ridiculous now. He didn't even have the Euros. Should be ahead of most fitness wise, not behind.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There have been no reports about refusing to train or not training well or having a bad attitude.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Apart from when the manager told the press that it isn't his job to convince players to want to play from Tottenham and that whatever it is has to come from himself which he reiterated numerous times. I think that tells us all we need to know about what's happening behind the scenes with Tanguy. It's not to difficult to read between the lines.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That doesn't at all suggest that he's got an attitude problem - just that he's asked to leave the club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think he has a bad attitude at all, just think he's struggling mentally to fit in over here - the Amazon doc showed that. Throw in another new manager, his fall down to earth and his two best mates in the country being sold and I'd be surprised if he plays for us again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Those are all feeble excuses when the guy has had such a massive investment put into him by the club. £10m a year...home sick?....poor little lamb, Suck it up buttercup!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't disagree but even if he does get paid insane money, he is still a human being. One of the problems with splashing out huge sums of money on young players is that you just can't account for personality or mental fortitude during the transition - there's no protection for the club and I doubt it's something that comes up in scouting.

In the NFL, young players coming into the league are on structured contracts that make it easy to cut ties if they can't transition to the big leagues - there should be something similar in football

The premier league is all about greed, they are not interested in the clubs and players
