Man utd have spent more than city over the last 5 years BEFORE the Ronaldo deal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
well that's not true, try again
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It certainly is liar.

Net spend of clubs over the last FIVE years:

Man Utd - £622.5m
Man City - £518.9m
Arsenal - £331.1m
Chelsea - £230.6m
Tottenham - £201.3m
Liverpool - £159.7m

This was BEFORE the Grealish deal and Ronaldo
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Now take into Ronaldo's shirt sales and other merchandise into the equation. Not to mention what's happened in the stock market today alone.

What’s happened in the stock market?

Net spend is a pretty good gauge I find of how frivolous a club is. Obviously we’d trust most clubs to be covered with sponsors and other deals and incomings but net spend is pretty handy to look at as a quick view as usually that has the biggest determinant on signings coming in.

They simply have to win the league. There can't be an excuse

I thought Liverpool before but now I would concede them and Utd are favourites for me

Chelsea look good and have the best manager. They just don't have the financial power of man utd it seems

If anybody else mentions increased shirt sales as a source of increased revenue for United over this ....

Just shows that solskjaer is completely in the dark about everything. Only last night he said 'he knows where we are' he is literally the PE teacher
