Didn’t see the coverage last weekend but was Souness on and if so what had he to say about the foul on Fernandes for the Southampton goal?

It didn’t look a foul to me but pretty unsporting to not put the ball out of play when Wolves did it for Fernandes in the 1st half

His inability to be impartial about Pogba questions his entire credibility as a pundit. Why is he still a pundit anyway? He's never played in the PL and therefore has no idea on the demands of the modern player.

Souness was one of the cantiest, dirtiest footballer in his time fouling left right and center. He doesn't get the moral highground to cry "foul" at all. So its karma for him, the cant.

Souness is Mr Angry - Angry that the game has moved on to the extent he would be a pariah in the game these days. Oh, he could play alright but benefitted from a great team about him.

Is Souness the only "prime time" male TV football pundit who never played in the Premier League? Did Lineker actually play in it in '92? That doesn't really matter because he is exceptionally knowledgeable about the game and an "all round good egg" who doesn't have more chips on his shoulder than McCains.
