When the sport is over for the day I often browse "This day in History".
Sounds boring but it flags up memories.
Most of it IS boring to me, too much US-oriented sport or political events. There are things that I find interesting enough though.

Houston, Texas founded 1836
Hey Jude released on Apple 1968
Slumdog Millionaire released 2008
Why did it take so long for these things to be found or released?
Before the ladies get on board and say it was because it always takes men ages to do anything, why was it left to a man to invent the vacuum cleaner? Must have been an anniversary gift from a loving, clever husband.
The Ladies are all in bed now aren't they - or I could be in trouble!
