Very underwhelming for me if we end the transfer window now with just the signings we have made. We have barely spent a penny when you consider both Gollini and Romero were loans and Gil was a transfer in a swap deal, but paid for by the sales of Foyth, Sissoko etc. The youngster who we have loaned back to Metz was obviously a small outlay, but we have got cash to burn, so there can’t be any excuses as too why we can’t strengthen further this window. Harry Kane staying is obviously a major positive I’ll give Levy credit there.
I just hope Levy doesn’t make that amateur mistake of thinking we are ok now because we are top after 3 games. We need too strengthen in key areas still and despite the brilliant start, I still think we are behind the top 4 and will be unless we strengthen further. If we really want this Traore, then go and put an acceptable bid in and sign him. Stop messing around trying to loan him, which we all know Wolves would never accept.
I think we need to calm down a bit and not get too over excited (Sandy ) because we have been down this road before under Mourinho and look what happened. There’s definitely a different aura about the place under Nuno, but there is a long way too go. Time too start doing your job Levy and backing the manager further. This window isn’t finished by a long shot and we need more, tick tock!!!!

Barca need to sell mate. Completely different situation with the mess they are in. Hence why it’s time too take advantage and get players in on a good deal. I personally would love a defence of Reguilon, Tanganga, Romero and Emerson if this happens. I will reiterate, I don’t trust Sanchez and Dier still. Whilst, they haven’t done anything wrong and deserve too keep their place, they won’t be keeping this up and they shouldn’t be our long term solution pairing. You don’t suddenly become solid from thin air. I would like Romero in soon before the inevitable happens.

Romero could be missing for our next 5 minimum. He won't be making an appearance anytime soon by the sound it. Sanchez will be off with Colombia. That leaves an injured Rodon and Dier with Tanganga and Davies. It's no wonder we're trying to get Emerson done.

He's off with Lo Celso with Argentina for the world cup qualifiers. It's a mad schedule over the next few months with a 10 day quarantine on top. Government guidelines requires them to be locked up in a hotel for 10 days but Spurs are trying to sort something out so at least they can train in quarantine.

If my memory is correct, we were top of the Prem last December? And finished 7th.
I would love to see Levy make a real bid for Traore, that would take some weight off Kane & Son. But I don't know how that would fit with Gil?
And didn't we just loan Gil back somewhere?
But how are we solving the back four problem?
Romero should have played against Watford....he needs practice in the EPL.

Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier, Reguilon.
Alternates...Romero, Rodon, Davies, Aurier?

Okay.....latest seems to be Daniel Lockbox Levy is going down to the final second to sell Aurier to Lille and buy Emerson Royal from Barcelona.

CB - What with Dier/Sanchez/Rodon/Romero/Tanganga I think a new CB is unlikely.
CM could really do with something in the middle of the park to add some dynamism and energy. Maybe that other Barca player also linked with RB Leipzg but no idea if hes any good.
FWD - In the absence of a proper backup striker (may be we just do not want to block Scarlets progress?) then Traore would be a very decent option. Struggle to see Wolves let such a key player leave on deadline day, unless then have someone lined up to replace.
