Emerson Royal

Yes he does sound like a packet of cigarettes or a Burger King meal but is he any good?

It seems we are close for a fee of around €30m for the Barcelona right back.

Has anyone seen him play / followed him? I just admit, I don’t know much about him so keen to understand your thoughts.

I do know that Barca want to keep him however he’s looking for regular first team football

Why not try & get Icardi at PSG... he’s got no chance of playing there now...

Not well suited to the Prem either. He's a top finisher but no real pace or strength. You don't need both to flourish as a striker in the Premiership, but ideally you need at least one.

Emerson has accepted Spurs as next club - still details pending on personal terms to complete the deal. Talks ongoing.

Icardi I would take immediately. But he has a questionable attitude. But I think it's worth the risk.

I'd say Ings is comfortably quicker than Icardi. He's also significantly more physical and has a much higher-energy pressing game. Icardi is a lazy poacher.
