Wonder if they can sort Ndombele, hearing that he could be sitting on the bench all season!

Something seriously wrong with him if he refuses to play..presumably a few fines will be coming his way.

What sad or encouraging depending which way you look at it...despite Mason not picking him and all the criticism Ndombele gets he was our most offensively productive center mid. Even a disinterested Ndombele has more assists and goals in him than the rest of our midfielders.

Gil, Dele, Bergwijn and Lo Celso will need to step up to fill a lot of goals and assists.

Yeah he’s really creative etc but it’s no good when his laziness can lead to the defence being under pressure or conceding goals

It’s a worry we’re relying on:
Bergwijn - can’t score but does a lot of good work and opens up teams
Gil - 20 years old
Dele - can he turn the clock back 4 or 5 years?
Lo Celso - who?

I would say Nuno needs to get inside Ndombele's head and get him working hard. I never saw him lose the ball once he had it, sometimes double and triple teamed.
Is he still listed on the French squad....or have his antics gotten to Deschamps?

YUP...he's kicked out of the french squad too!!

Who does he think will be in for him if he acts like a tool, doesnt work hard enough and has a sucky attitude.

No team can carry a player so how does he think player for a bigger club if he aint prepared to do the hard yards?

Reluctant to go in on ndombele too much as there looks to clearly be something wrong and I’m not sure we have all the info. It does seem like Lyon have totally mugged us off tho

Something not right...I think a 433 suits him though. Not a 6 in pivot and not a 10 either in my opinion. But he needs to other defensive minded CMs to do the destroyer and anchor roles.

So its either him or Dele...who wins?
