Diafol and Babyen plus any other Welsh poster.
What do you make of your first minister? He seems such a good leader to me.
And in theses days of Boris and Trump is sensible, honest and want to do well for the people of Wales.
I wish England had the equivalent.
Nothing to do with football sorry.

Rhodri Morgan was better.

Comes across as overly cautious at times, but the general feeling is that he’s handled Covid really well imo.
Not the most charismatic of leaders, but solid enough. We could do a lot worse for sure.

Well, it won’t be going anywhere unless you start the debate, son,
Even then I doubt it would gain traction.

I have to be careful here. He's my boss!
I think he's done a good, steady job and is clearly well briefed in terms of facts before any press conference. He also doesn't promise things he knows he can't guarantee to deliver. As Babyen says he's cautious but I think that caution has been justified. He's a strange one within the Labour Party though as he's actually a leader who's won an election yet they don't seem to use him much. I think though the UK Labour Party perhaps thinks he's a bit too socialist and Welsh for them!
I would rate him higher though if he came out in support of independence! He has flirted with that issue quite a few times but never goes the whole hog. He is a unionist but, he's also a pragmatist, and if he thinks that would be best for Wales I reckon he's cautiously go for it.

You know much more than me Diafol.
I think in his heart he wants independence, but in his head fears it will hurt Wales. It's just how I read him.
What I really like about him is that he is a sensible, honest politician. So different from Boris.

From what I know of him he's a staunch unionist but he does want reform of the UK.
He's probably quite savvy as well in flirting with independence as recent polls in Wales suggests more than half the Labour Party voters would vote for independence. With that in mind it would make sense to keep them in mind.

You coupdnt possibly be openly for independence and maintain his position as leader of Welsh Labour. Pabour are a UK wide party

I understand that. The only way that would be possible is for Welsh Labour to completely break away from the main Labour Party. It won't happen though in the near future. It's just my opinion on him really more than what I think will happen.
He does suggest at times he's open to it though which certainly helped him in the last election here.
