The Braziilians are very bitter at the moment.

Good chance they won't release them

Very Poor from Radz to air in public that Raphinna decided not to play for Brazil. Why is this necessary? Not sure he’ll be looked at in good light from a Brazilian perspective

I dont get how raph would be effected by this.

The club didn't say no.

He said he didn't want to play at this time.

Therefore the club haven't held him back, rather he just decided he wanted to not play this time

Be sure if one thing, all of the Brazilians chosen from the Premier League to play for El seleção this month will have discussed this issue together at length including about how best they should handle the inevitable fallout we have witnessed. I am quite sure they will support Raphinha, especially given this first call up was such a big opportunity for him.

Any player at any time that is banned for such reasons as this should refuse to play future games, that'd put Fifa in a fix when its National teams cant field full strength teams!..

Good I ain't a footballer because if I was and something like this happened to me I'd ban myself from International games!..

And as mentioned, Raph said no not Leeds!..

Dumb ass idea sending players all over the World with what is happening at this time, and Fifa should be asked why clubs are forced to let their players go knowing when they come back they'll be banned from playing for their club for x-amount off games, games that these players will be needed for and for some clubs at the end off season it could be the difference between life and death!..

Looks like Raphinha is banned from playing! https://motleedsnews.com/news/leeds-united-blocked-from-selecting-raphinha-v-liverpool-on-sunday/

It's always struck me as a "privileged" view that FIFA expect clubs to part with their extremely expensive resources for nowt and can punish clubs if they don't comply, even if (as in this case) there are sensible reasons for keeping the player back.

Perhaps Raph should have developed a small 'knock' in training that prevented him from going over or been pinged by the Covid app?

That's the 3rd time Liverpool have escaped facing Raphinha lol.
