Thank goodness the international break is over – can’t stand them – why break up the season when it has just begun?
After the last game against Notts and some pretty pathetic attempts at wind-ups and deletions on this board from aforementioned pathetic Notts winder upper, it was a pity that we did not get the win we deserved. We looked competitive and a combination of naivety and old legs probably did us in the end
As the debacle with the EFL rumbles on, my respect for R Wayne increases. You sort of wonder what he could have achieved if he’d had the resources and finance previous managers have had. Instead we have a young manager squeezing out performances from players who rightly should be enjoying their slippers and open fire.Forsyth is suspended for three games – no chance you can even debate the severity, they just slap on another couple of games and Jozwiak is emptying his pockets at Customs of Grealish and Shaw – there is definitely high potential there, just need Bielek back to tap into it.
Derby County are getting into a defined groove of how R Wayne wants them to play. It looks tidy and through repetition and training, it seems to slowly be coming together. One day the sum of all the parts will be more than what they add up to on their own or something……
It should be an tenacious game – once again the bookies don’t fancy it (1.85 and 4.50 respectively – 3.40 for a draw).
