I mentioned in an article earlier how many excellent players we've had in the PL area and was wondering how strong we were going down into the third best XI etc. With that in mind (and I know I'll have missed some out as I'm doing this quickly and that it's also a matter of opinion) you firstly need a best two XIs first.
Here's mine below and the best of the rest team below them. Feel free to slate/amend/delete as you see fit. I've set the first two teams out in 442 formation for ease of inclusion which may make it more biased towards the older players although the third team is a 433.

Yeah Barnes was better before PL, same as Molby. Finnan and Johnson a difficult one but in today's game Johnson. Heskey was a type of player going out of fashion, especially at the better teams, by the time we bought him. McAllister did a great job but for a short time. Although you could say the same about Sterling but we always had a lack of talent at left wing, after Barnes moved central.

Fair enough. You’ve seen more of them than me no doubt.
Just my opinion but Salah gets in any Liverpool XI. Scored more frequently than Torres over a longer period and has been part of a PL and CL winning side.
For me it would be Suarez and Salah as shoe ins and a coin toss between Torres and Mane.

plus some decent support for them too in Mane, Sterling, Firmino etc. You did cheat a bit!
