So the Brazilian pl players have been cleared to play now this weekend. The 5 day ban won’t be enforced. Was Fred registered in our squad for this weekend?

He must be, think all the PL clubs knew there was a good chance it wouldn’t happen and I’m sure I read Ole say he still hoped Fred can play

Cavani was super for us last season, I enjoyed watching him. I hope he'll get plenty of games this season.

If I recall didn't you write an article in Feb/March asking if he'd done enough for another year?

I think he's a great guy to have in the squad but if he did want to go in January to South America to get games, if he's not played much for United, I wouldn't begrudge him.

He’s been a good buy and has the sort of experience we needed in the squad but I do think some fans have gone a bit ott recently over his time at the club so far.

Yes you’re right and he really hit form after that.

From the Spurs away game onwards his season caught fire.

I think he can still have a big role to play but possibly from the bench.

Uruguay ended up cancelling their call up for Cavani I think so not the same issue with the Brazilians.
