Last quarter of the game shown Maddison shouldn’t start next game.

So much better without him

I missed a from 15 to 30 minutes 2nd half
And I think baring in mind M. City were struggling to break us down / happy with 1-0 /playing counter attack,

But my TV view was we looked more solid with Evens back and that changed how we play as well,
Maddison is still not fit and not 100% in his head either subconscious of another injury
Barnes however looks to be ckose to full fitness

Gah, not a great result but a good performance which should give us confidence going in to our next set of winnable games.

Our biggest issue was the lack of quality in their final 3rd. Maddison and Barnes just weren’t cutting it abs Albrighton is industrious and works hard defensively but if he hasn’t got a quick pass to Vardy on he doesn’t do a lot.

Vestergaard looked very good and passing was excellent. Could fit in nicely with our style and it brought Tielemans in to the game more.

Frustrating result but an ok performance. It’s coming to a time where Maddison needs to be dropped if he doesn’t do more. Abject for too long now.
