Although still a relative novice as a manager in terms of years it appears that players must see something they like in his style of management, playing style or his vision for the future. United are looking like a "go to" club again after a few years of mediocrity (by their standards). Obviously still early days yet but it seems like Ole is very close to having the squad he wants.
I'm a bit more optimistic on match days now.
If United can kick that bad habit of the odd poor result against a team they should murder it should be a good contest between them and Liverpool for the title.

I mentioned on another thread that we've faced arguably the two best ball carriers in the league in our last 2 games in Traore and Saint Max. Yeah they waltzed through our midfield a few times, but they are two players who are fecking hard to stop once they get going.
If you give Newcastle space (as the top teams should and will do) then Saint Max will cause you problems at some point. The best defensive mid in the world isn't going to stop that. The only way to stop it really is to be a little more conservative in your approach - and that's not a trade off I want to see us making at some point.

True, they had a few promising openings though where they probably should have made more out of it.
It's still early days yet though, if you can iron out those minor errors throughout the season you'll be very close.
